• Password practices. We check how accounts are set up, never what the passwords are.

• Updates and patching on the computers that hold the business.

• Antivirus and endpoint protection, and whether it is actually running.

• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace configuration.

• Wi Fi and router settings, including guest access.

• Backups, and whether they would restore.

• Encryption on the machines that leave the building.

• Equipment that is out of support and no longer receiving fixes.
